Bookleggers' founding director, Nathaniel Sandler joins the panel to talk about "Library and Literacy: What's Happening in Miami?" along with O, Miami, Miami-Dade Public Library System, and FIU Libraries. 

 

ProjectArt’s Annual Exhibition 

Told and Retold: The Pedagogy of Knowing and Becoming.
 

This group exhibition features work created during the 2024–2025 school year and parallel ProjectArt Residency, including pieces by Resident Teaching Artists Agua Dulce, Ashley Castañeda, Isabella Marie Garcia, Jevon Brown, Katherine "Neco" Kafruni, and their students from the Kendall, Naranja, Shenandoah, Culmer/Overtown, and North Central Branches of the Miami-Dade Public Library System.

 

These exhibiting local artists created new work over the course of the residency year, encouraged to incorporate aspects of ProjectArt tenants, such as: community, youth, and the utilizing library as a resource into their artistic practice.
