Love Letters to Hialeah

Residents were invited to write "zip ode" poems and “love letters” to Hialeah on an 8’ x 8’ chalkboard, while enjoying food trucks and live music. The final piece, displaying unified love for the city, was featured at the Milander Center and up to ten poems submitted during the event were selected and mailed as a postcard to 5000 people and emailed to 3,500 newsletter subscribers. In collaboration with City of Hialeah, O, Miami Poetry Festival, Bookleggers, and WLRN.
