What kind of books do you have?

Bookleggers is a free used book store so it has many kinds of books on many different topics, like fiction, non fiction, art, philosophy, self help. We have a very active children’s and YA section. We have books in English, Spanish, French and even some in other language. The books range from lightly used to brand new.

Do you take cash donations?

Yes! Actually cash is the most helpful thing you can donate. Bookleggers only functions because we pay people to take in, sort, and redistribute the books.

Do you provide a donation receipt?

Accepted Answer

Yes we can! We are a 501c3 and your donation is tax deductible. We can and do provide a tax receipt for donations, which lists a number of books.

We will not evaluate anyone’s collection for prices or value. If you think what you
are donating is a rare book, please get in touch!
