About Us

Bookleggers in Prisons is a natural extension of our mission, providing incarcerated individuals across the state of Florida with free books that meet their specific needs and interests. Those incarcerated in Florida may write to us or complete an order request form to request 2-5 free books up to three (3) times a year. In addition to fulfilling individual book requests, Bookleggers in Prisons seeks to supplement libraries within correctional facilities across the state, as well as provide free books to organizations offering education and reentry services to those incarcerated in Florida.
